NOMED was a first-person psychological thriller I worked on as part of a small student team. It was our debut project and for me it became a full hands-on experience in building a game from the ground up.
I was responsible for game design decisions, level structure, and shaping the atmosphere through environment work. On the visual side, I worked as a 3D generalist - creating new models, modifying and adapting existing assets, cleaning and optimizing topology, and preparing UV layouts. I painted textures in Photoshop and built PBR and custom materials directly inside Unity to achieve a consistent visual tone across the entire game.
The project required constant iteration between gameplay and visuals. I focused on maintaining performance while preserving mood, especially in dark, flashlight-driven environments. NOMED allowed me to develop both technical and artistic skills — from asset optimization and material setup to environment storytelling and puzzle flow design.
